The previous Morrison Government weakened our environment laws to help their property developer and mining company mates, burying the 2021 State of the Environment Report to hide their mismanagement.

Now we know just how dire the situation is.

Our environment and our wildlife are suffering. Our precious places are under threat.

But we can turn things around.

We are pushing the Labor Government to set a Zero Extinction target to protect vulnerable species. To strengthen our environmental laws, to stop the clearing of koala and other wildlife habitat, and to bring in a climate trigger in our environment laws to stop dangerous new coal and gas projects.
