South Australia was spared the worst of the Covid health crisis but many South Australians are doing it hard due to the financial crisis caused by the pandemic.

At the same time, South Australia has been feeling the impacts of climate change with bushfires, drought and extreme weather threatening our state.

Our lifeline, the River Murray, has been mismanaged and threatened due to almost a decade of Nationals like Barnaby Joyce being in charge. I will keep pushing the new Environment Minister to deliver on the promise to South Australia of 450gl of water for the environment.

South Australia is a creative state and we can map our way out of the covid pandemic by focusing on a clean, green recovery. We can invest in more renewable energy, support our creative industries and build more green manufacturing capacity and protect our environment and our jobs.
