We know that the climate crisis is caused by mining and burning coal and gas. The Liberals and Labor back more coal and gas and take millions in donations from coal and gas billionaires & big corporations.
We need to phase out coal and gas by 2030.
By 2050, it will be too late.
Sarah and the Greens are in the Parliament to push our Government to take the urgent action we need on the climate crisis, to phase out coal and gas and to create thousands of clean jobs rolling out renewable energy.
We have recently introduced our Climate Trigger bill which would force the Government to consider the climate impacts of potential developments with emissions thresholds for automatic project refusal.
