SENATOR FOR SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Since I was first elected in 2007, I’ve worked hard to represent my home state of SA and to give a voice to those who are too often forgotten in Canberra. I’m in the Federal Parliament because I understand that business as usual isn’t good enough anymore.
I’m proud of the work we have done together in fighting to protect the environment and our renewable energy industry, saving our Murray River and the Great Australian Bight, standing up for fairness for refugees, and advocating for equality for members of our community often left behind by big business and weak politicians.
