Community Forum on the Voice to Parliament

This year we have the chance to make history by enshrining an Indigenous Voice to Parliament.

Come along to the community forum and hear from First Nations community leaders why it is important for this referendum to be successful.

Hosted by Senator Sarah Hanson-Young and Uncle Major Moogy Sumner AO Ngarrindjeri and Kaurna Elder, world renowned performer and cultural ambassador.

Special Guest Speakers:

  • Teela Reid - Proud Wiradjuri and Wailwan woman, Senior Lawyer.
  • Jakirah Telfer - Kaurna and Narungga South Australian State Coordinator for the YESCampaign.

This referendum is our chance to be on the right side of history. A successful referendum will be a unifying moment for our country. It is an opportunity to start to right the wrongs of our past and take a step towards a better, kinder Australia. The Voice is an important step towards First Nations justice and is the pathway to truth-telling and treaty making.
