Together, we need to make sure our voices are heard loud and clear, that drilling in the Bight is NOT welcome here.
The next 2 years will be crucial for the Bight. Equinor is pushing ahead with plans to begin drilling in late 2020 and NOPSEMA are due to decide whether to allow drilling in the Bight in the next few weeks. Even if the regulator approves drilling, Equinor does NOT have the approval of the Australian people.
It is the Bight Club's mission to ensure our message is heard loud and clear - We do not support drilling in the Bight and we want the area world heritage protected.
That's why we are hosting a meeting to plan for the next big day of action and brainstorm ideas for a summer where we will #BightBack.
